Film Strip
This is my new script it is still from Edward Scissorhands however is a different part of the script.... I know its late to change the script but I havent started animating yet and the characters and scenery are still the same so it isnt really making much dfference to my timing. I have chosen this scene as the enviroment is more detailed and I feel I can work better with it, the script is also longer. It's a flash back of when the inventor was teaching Edward. He's reading to edward in the room where the inventor created Edward. There is not alot of movement of charactrs which is what I like as I do not like character anumation very much and am more inerested in the environment, so overall this scene works much better.
(On hearing that, Edward looks
back the time the inventor taught
him the etiquette.)
INVENTOR
Let us pretend we're in the drawing room, and
the hostess is serving tea "Now, many numerous
little questions confront us" "Should the man
rise" "When he accepts his cup of tea?" "May
lump sugar be taken with the things?"
EDWARD
Hmm, no.
INVENTOR
Is it good form to accept a second cup? "Now,
should the napkin be entirely unfolded." Oh
should the center crease. Be allowed to remain?
It is so easy to commit embarrassing
blunders. "But etiquette humiliation and
discomfort. Mmm yes, boring. Let us switch to,
Um... To some poetry, Hmm?" "There was an old
man from the cape." "Who made himself there,
but they keep such a beautiful shape." That's
right. Go ahead, smile. It's funny. That's
right.
Here is the video clip of the scene. It starts at about 7 minuites in...

Dripping Sink Showreel Test
Here is my dripping sink... I have tried out some things that i can use in my show reel...
Dripping Sink
To test out the ripple warp I have decided to model a sink! I love modelling especially household objects as I am interestd in doing interior design 3d modelling. Here is the sink i have made and the animation of the drip and ripple is rendering as i write this so will hopefully be up byt the end of tonight...
New Building
I have just created this building in my seminar, I had some free time on my hands. I have taken a wire still frame and overlapped it with the textured rendered still so you can see the framework of the building. Gives you an idea of how I built it. Its not brilliant but I did build this up in an hour...

I have learnt today how to make the water move so i have animated it in my forest scene shown below which i will re render over night and i have also created a fish under water and it is all animated however because of my slow internet it is not uploading to youtube so i will be here for a while until it does! My protfolio is comming along tho, however it is not amazing mostly simple stuff thats not all the high quality but at the moment its the best i can do!

An Environments show reel I found
This is a showreel by a student from aukland... its amazing... so detailed, however is not very dated as its from 2008 so it doent look as high spec as it would now. I like the way he has shown his workings and showen the wireframe. This is the sort of effect i am trying to do with mine.
